What happens if you eat Lucky Charms on Friday 13th? Do they cancel each other out or does Jason start riverdancing?

Red Balloons have been in it for as long as I can remember. Thanks to some research, they were added in 1989, which would explain some things as I was born in 1987.
Also, I remember the Blue Diamonds, which were sadly merged with the Yellow Moons, as well as the stars when they DIDN’T have tails.

Wait a minute…no more blue diamonds or yellow moons? Where the hell have I been?

Haven’t you heard of 99 Luftballons (99 Red Balloons)? I don’t know exactly what they mean, but it’s gotta be some culturally relevant… thing.
